I recently completed a global M.A. in Interactive Media Arts at NYU and am serving as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at IMA Low Res, NYU Tisch School of the Arts. I also hold a B.A. degree in Art Histroy from Vassar College and an M.A. degree in the Humanities from the University of Chicago.

Most of the times I live in Brooklyn, NY, with my partner and our black labrador dog Nori 🖤

Hi, I am Mengna (pronounced “mung-na”). I’m an artist, designer, and project manager with 8 years of experience at the intersection of art, experience, and impact. I connect people, concepts, and technology to deliver compelling visual stories and interactive experiences.

As a project manager, I have a proven track record leading exhibitions, cultural programs, and media production across museums, digital platforms, and on the street. I have had the pleasure working at Jenny Holzer Studio, Open Society Foundations, and Xu Bing Studio, delivering projects at institutions like the Guggenheim Museum, MoMA, and LACMA as well as public spaces such as the National Mall and the Rockfeller Center.

As a creative, I enjoy pushing the boundaries between visual storytelling, curation, web art, performance, and games to make works that matter. Rooted in art history and cyberfeminism, my work explores themes of agency, power, body, joy, and meaningful discomfort.
